"KBS voyeur case" criminal comedian, sentenced to 5 years in prison.
A hidden camera was installed in the women's toilet of Korean KBS, and a comedian Park, who was detained on suspicion of taking a voyeur, was sentenced to five years in prison.

On the 11th, a trial of Mr. Park's voyeurism was held at the hearing of Judge Ryu Hyun, a 13-exclusive judicial detective in the southern part of Seoul. The prosecution demanded that Mr. Park be sentenced to five years in prison, disclose personal information, and restrict employment in child and youth-related organizations and welfare facilities for persons with disabilities.

From October 2018 to May this year, Mr. Park was suspected of possessing the voyeur footage of the victims through installing a camera in the women's toilet and changing room of the KBS research building several dozen times.

Park was a newcomer to KBS. The camera was discovered by a PD belonging to KBS, and Park was immediately investigated.

The prosecution emphasized that Mr. Park took a long-term filming and committed a crime against a colleague in the workplace who he had built a relationship of trust, and the victim wants severe punishment.

The victim's legal representative also argued that although Park confessed, he wanted harsh punishment given that he spoke shortly and that the victim suffered.

"I'm sorry for the victims and their families who are suffering because of me. I will be treated and educated in psychiatry to prevent recidivism," said Park in tears. Park's next trial is scheduled for October 16th.
