Actor Lee Dong-gun confessed about the changes he went through after his own brother passed away.

On the SBS variety show ’My Little Old Boy, which aired at 9:05 p.m. on the 24th, Lee Dong-gun mentioned his brother who died.

On the broadcast, Lee Dong-gun decided to seek a consultation at a hospital for his frequent drinking. The doctor asked Lee Dong-gun how many times a week he drinks alcohol, and Lee Dong-gun responded, "Frankly, It's much quicker to ask about how many days I haven't had a drink," saying, "I really can't drink. Otherwise, honestly, it seems like I'm drinking every day," he said.

The doctor asked, "Have you ever heard of someone saying, 'I need to cut back on my drinking' while going through a medical checkup or living with a drinking pattern like this?" In response, Lee Dong-gun said, "When I was filming, I only filmed my hands and they were shaking," and he said, "Once the camera director said my hands were shaking too much and it is a problem, I was shocked and didn't drink alcohol for a week."

Lee Dong-gon, who said he has been drinking alcohol every day for about 10 years, confessed that he "was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) long ago due to family problems" as "when I lay down, I thought about many things and that is why I could not sleep for hours and that is why I am afraid to drink again.

Referring to his brother's death, Lee Dong-gon said, "I sent my brother, who was much older than me, ahead of me, and I think I cared for him more like a child than as an older brother." He added, "I think I felt more betrayal and surprise at the unexpected event than grief.

Lee Dong-gun said, "If there really was an absolute being, he felt betrayed and turned to a very extreme calmness," and that "it was very hard to endure otherwise, so he had to live like a person without feelings." Lee Dong-gon also recalled that he "seemed to be under the illusion that it was hard to stay sane at that time," and that "I kept thinking of things I didn't want to remember, and I wanted to numb them, so I mistakenly used the tool of alcohol to do that.
