The explosive number of views for dance videos is BLACKPINK's exclusive property. In fact, out of the 45 videos of BLACKPINK that have been posted on YouTube, 500 million views have been viewed.
This is the fourth dance video to have more than 100 views, proving the passionate interest of global fans in their performances.
The number of views for the music video for "DDU-DU" (2.1 billion views) also continues to show its popularity, breaking new records for the first, highest, and most views for K-pop every minute and second.
The title song of BLACKPINK's first mini album "SQUARE UP," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," features an addictive chorus and a point-and-shoot sound that sounds like a gun being shot with both hands.
The song's dance moves led to its popularity, making it the most-watched K-pop music video in the world that year. It also achieved strong results on various music charts both in Korea and overseas.
The single "Perfect All Kill" reached 40th and 55th place on the US Billboard 200 and HOT100 respectively, the highest ranking ever for a K-pop girl group at the time.
