Singer Na Hoon-ah, who declared that she would "hang up the microphone" after her national tour concert, has clearly stated her intention to retire.
Na Hoon-ah will be appearing at the Songdo Convention Center in Incheon at 3 p.m. on the 27th.
Sia held the Incheon performance of their nationwide tour concert "2024 Thank You - LAST CONCERT."
In February, Na Hoon-ah said, "This national tour will be my last concert.
However, she did not clearly state whether she was quitting concerts or leaving the music industry completely.
During the first performance of the national tour, Na Hoon-ah asked the audience, "Will you be sad if I quit?"
When the answer was "yes," he revealed his intention to retire, saying, "That's why I'm quitting," and added, "If you all didn't say, 'You can quit,' or 'See you later,' and miss me, I'd be the one who'd be lonely."
Na Hoon-ah said that he was not quitting his singing career due to health issues. He said, "I watched YouTube and one fortune teller said that I would die next year, and another said that I would die in the next year.
"I told them I was sick, but they didn't believe me. In February of this year, I had 25 different tests, including blood tests, and there were no problems, which surprised the doctor."
Na Hoon-ah said, "From now on, I want to go to places I've never been to, eat things I've never eaten, and see things I've never seen before.
"I will live my life watching this," he said. "I will no longer sit in front of the piano, or touch the guitar. I may read books, but I will no longer write, and I will no longer write in a diary."
He also explained why he didn't use the word "retirement" in his previously published letter, instead saying he was "putting down the microphone."
"I hate the words. They make me feel like I'm being swept away," she said, adding, "I said, 'Put the mic down,' because I can still do it (but I can stop).
He added, "Some people say, 'Maybe he'll stick his nose into the entertainment industry,' or 'Maybe he'll write a song for someone,' but I don't know my junior singers that well.
"The stories on YouTube are all lies," she said. Na Hoon-ah will hold additional concerts in Incheon on the 27th at 7:30 pm and the 28th at 3 pm. After that, she will hold a concert at the Cheongju Culture Center on May 11th.
on May 18 at Dongcheon Gymnasium in Ulsan, on June 1 at Changwon Indoor Gymnasium in Changwon, and on June 15 at Yoo Kwang-soon Gymnasium in Cheonan.
The tour will continue with the first performances at the Gwansun Gymnasium in Wonju on June 22, the Wonju General Gymnasium in Wonju on July 6, and the Jeonju Indoor Gymnasium in Jeonju on July 6. The performance schedule for the second half of the year will be announced in the future.
That's the plan.
