Director Lee Hwan explained the reason for casting the two actresses, saying, "Both Han Seo Hee and Jeon Jong Seo generally have a girl crush image.
However, I thought that they could give off a pleasant sense of betrayal from the image we already know of them, and I believed that they had a part that could fully express this, so I cast them.
"I also wanted to work with them because they are both icons of the era who enjoy a lot of public support," he said, showing his strong trust in the two actors.
Han Seo Hee, who plays Mi Sun, said that she participated in the film because "First of all, the script was very interesting. Also, I was very happy to see two actors of the same age and gender appearing in the same frame of a film."
Jeon Jong Seo, who plays Do Kyung, said, "It was interesting to see the cast be included in the drama." He added, "I was able to work with fellow actresses of the same age, a good script, a good director, and a good production team. All the circumstances were perfect.
