In episode 11 of tvN's weekend drama 'The Tyrant's Chef' (viewership rating: 12.4%), Lee Jang-gyun (Lee Se-ho), on a secret mission from Lee Heon (Lee Chae-min), appears at the banquet hall with a historical document containing the truth about the deposed queen's death.

Hong is momentarily happy to see his subordinate Jang-gyun, who he thought had disappeared, but Jang-gyun's expression is frozen, and he is unable to properly look at the king he serves. This is because Prince Chaesan had taken Jang-gyun's family hostage to anger Hong and turn him into a tyrant, and he had to be the "pawn" in the game.

Chang-gyun holds back tears as he reveals the horrifying truth about the king's secret mission and the circumstances that led him to become a tyrant: the death of the deceased queen. Despite Prince Choesan's threats, Chang-gyun was forced to stand half-heartedly, as he was faced with the stark reality that he was the one who betrayed the king, and was not even worthy to kneel before the king.
