On the 24th, Taeil filed an appeal through his legal representative, dissatisfied with the second trial ruling. Two of his accomplices, who are also under suspicion, have also reportedly filed appeals.
Prior to this, TAEIL and his associates were accused of sexually assaulting a female Chinese tourist, Ms. A, who was drunk and unable to support herself, at around 4 a.m. on June 13th of last year, together with two acquaintances.
Taeil, who was on trial without being detained, was sentenced to three years and six months in prison in the first trial in July and was taken into custody. The court said, "The victim was drunk and unable to resist.
"The suspect took advantage of the situation and committed sexual assaults one after the other, and the nature of the crime is extremely unsatisfactory," the prosecutor said, adding, "In order to impose a prison sentence, we have decided to issue an arrest warrant as there is a risk of escape."
