”Fabricated City” director: ”I couldn't have chosen any other actor than Ji Chang-wook”

"I naturally thought it was Ji Chang Wook," said director Park Shin Woo at the press conference for the new Disney Plus series "Fabricated" held at the Conrad Seoul Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul on the morning of the 3rd.
Ji Chang Wook's casting behind-the-scenes was revealed at the production presentation of "Fabricated City." "Fabricated City" is a story about Tae-jun (Ji Chang Wook), who lives an ordinary life, but one day becomes the victim of a violent crime.
He gets caught up in a crime and goes to prison, but then finds out that it was all planned by Yohan (Do Kyung-soo, DO of "EXO") and takes revenge on him. This is an action TV series.
The show was co-directed by Oh Sang-ho, the writer of the TV series "Model Taxi," Park Shin-woo, the director of "National Death Penalty Vote," and Kim Chang-joo, the director of the film "Hard Hit."
"Fabricated City" is a remake of the film "Fabricated City" and teases the highlights of the spectacular action.
Director Park explained the reason for casting Ji Chang Wook as the lead actor, saying, "Even before the script was released, Ji Chang Wook showed his determination to be an actor.

Ji Chang Wook is currently working on his third crime action drama for Disney Plus, following "The Worst Evil" and "Gangnam B-Side" with "Fabricated City."
