Netflix's ”K-Pop Girls! Demon Hunters” fails to qualify for the BAFTA awards due to lack of qualifications, but could this affect the Oscars?

The Netflix animation "KPOP Girls! Demon Hunters," which has shook the world with its syndrome-level popularity, has been nominated by the organizers of the British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).
On the 12th (Korean time), the American entertainment media Variety reported that the BAFTA Film Committee had decided that "K
POP Girls! Demon Hunters has been deemed "ineligible for nomination" and has been decided not to nominate them for the 79th British Academy Film Awards to be held in February next year.
"Demon Hunters" has become a hot topic among the public and critics, and is even predicted to win the Oscars in March of next year.
This is a completely different situation from what was expected. There is a view that the results of this BAFTA may affect the selection of nominees for the North American Oscars, which are essentially the "flower of the world of film."
The UK's BAFTA only allows films that have been released in cinemas to be nominated.
Instead, the film was released to the UK public through event screenings and other distribution channels.
Netflix will be broadcasting "K-Pop Girls! Demon Hunters" to 264 UK channels for two days from August 23rd to 24th.
It was reported that the film was screened at 100 theaters as an event screening, and was subsequently released in 528 local theaters during the Halloween season (October 31st to November 2nd), and so the lawsuit was appealed to the organizers.
