On the 5th, Entertainment posted on their official Instagram, "We hope that all children will be loved and grow into healthy adults.
Aiyuena will continue to support her this spring," she said, revealing her donation.
The confirmation of the 100 million won donation to the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation released by Entertainment lists the name of the donor as "Iyuena."
It is a combination of her stage name IU and her fan club name "Yuena". Since her debut in 2008, IU has been performing under the name "Iuena" due to financial difficulties.
She is a constant force for good deeds for people experiencing heart disease, not just on special occasions like her birthday or anniversary, but whenever help is needed.
Since 2015, she has also made donations every year on Children's Day. Last month, IU held the "2024 IUHEREH World Tour Concert" in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The tour will continue at AsiaWorld Arena in Hong Kong on the 25th and 26th.
