EYES will be releasing their second mini album on KBS2's "Music Bank" broadcast on the 18th.
CLOSE YOUR EYES took first place with their title track "Snowy Summer." Prior to this, CLOSE YOUR EYES had been on the SBS Music Awards on the 15th, the sixth day of their comeback.
On the 16th, the group won first place in MBC's "THE SHOW" and on the 17th, MBC's "Show Champion", becoming a hot topic among global fans.
In April, they debuted with the song "All the Poems and Novels in Me" and became "THE
SHOW" and "Music Bank" to achieve double crowns in Music Program.
Having earned the nickname "star rookie," they have taken it a step further with this comeback, successfully achieving a triple crown, proving their unrivaled popularity as the global "hot rookies."
Immediately after receiving the award, CLOSE YOUR EYES said, "We would like to thank everyone who helped us create this stage, including our management office family.
We feel that we are truly undeserving of receiving awards like this every time we release something. I think it means that we should work harder, and we will do our best to become singers worthy of a first place award."
CLOSE YOUR EYES' mini album "Snowy Summer," released on the 9th, sold over 200,000 copies on the day of its release, and is now on track to sell over 300,000 copies, following their previous album.
The album recorded sales of 10,000 yen. On the day of its release, the album made a striking presence on charts both at home and abroad, including the Hunter Chart.
"Summer" is a warm pop R&B song with a house feel, and stimulates the imagination through the contrast between the opposing images of "summer" and "snow".
The music video, which tells the witty story of CLOSE YOUR EYES becoming a ghost, has also been viewed over 22.8 million times on YouTube, drawing passionate love.
They are expected to continue their active activities with their new song "Snowy Summer" in the future.
