SEVENTEEN's general leader S.COUPS (real name Choi Seungcheol) donated 50 million won to children from low-income families in celebration of his birthday (August 8th).
According to the Community Chest of Love on the 8th, S.COUPS has made the donation to Honor, a group of large donors to Love.
I joined the Honor Society as its 3,710th member.
The "Society" is a group of generous individual donors who have donated over 100 million won or who have committed to making a donation within five years.
In accordance with S.COUPS's desire to support children and young people, the donations will be used to cover the cost of meals for children who are at risk of not having enough to eat during the summer holidays.
The proceeds will be used to support the healthy development of vulnerable children, primarily at national and local childcare centers. S.COUPS said, "Thanks to the love of our fans, every birthday is a special day.
"I am remembered as a person who has given me so much love. With this in mind, I wanted to give back to society at least a little of the love I received," she said, adding, "I will continue to support the healthy growth of all children and young people."
S.COUPS has always been interested in various areas such as child welfare and animal protection, and has been steadily practicing sharing. In addition to this birthday donation, we will be donating to abandoned animal shelters and rescue organizations.
They have made several donations, focusing on medical expenses and rescuing abused animals, and have continued to exert a positive influence by donating to various disaster relief efforts, including donations to Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang in March.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is celebrating their 10th anniversary since their debut this year and is currently carrying out a variety of activities.
"BURSTDAY" reached number one on the Circle Chart's first half album chart, and the title track "THUNDER" topped the Melon Top 100 chart, making it a hot topic.
They have proven their popularity. Starting in September, they will be performing at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium in the "SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR"
[NEW_]" and will meet fans from all over the world.
This will be followed by North America and Japan.
