S.COUPS of the group SEVENTEEN has spoken out about the cafe run by his older brother.
On the 27th, S.COUPS posted on the fan platform "Weverse," "Recently, there have been a lot of good things happening, and we've been working as a unit.
I have a lot of issues with my brother, so I don't want to talk about anything bad, so I'm holding back. I'm not happy that CARATs (fandom name) like the cafe and go there.
I can't say anything, but I don't want to be consumed for or because of me."
S.COUPS revealed through the fan platform "Weverse" that he has many problems with his brother.
He stated that he does not want his fans to spend money at the cafe for themselves. This denies the rumors that some fans have about his ownership of the cafe, and at the same time, it also raises questions about his relationship with his brother.
This is not the first time that S.COUPS has mentioned his brother's cafe. On the 17th, he said, "I often see videos of the cafe, but it has nothing to do with me.
"Please don't consume it from now on," he said, "I want you to convey this to many CARATs. I understand that many CARATs follow and visit the site."
S.COUPS's repeated statements are being interpreted as a stance to deny the "cafe ownership theory" that has been raised by some fans.
Furthermore, the direct mention that "I have a lot of problems with my brother" suggests that he has a bad relationship with his brother.
There is speculation that a reconciliation has occurred, but some fans have explained that the two are close enough to live together and even travel together.
SCOOPS is currently working with fellow group member MIN-GYU as the unit "SCOOPS×MINGYU."
Their new album "HYPE VIBES" will be released on the 29th at 6 PM.
