Dohoon and YOUNG JAE of the group TWS revealed that they entered the entertainment industry through street scouting and direct mail scouting, respectively.

Do-hoon shared the story, saying, "In 2018, when I was in the first year of middle school, my elementary school graduation ceremony was held. I was watching the graduation ceremony wearing a white long down jacket when someone came up to me and said, 'You're from your agency.
"Is there a place where I can go?" he asked. It wasn't the current management office. It was a different office, but I gave him the number and ran home because my house was close to my alma mater. I told my mother, "I'm a student at Sky Sports.
"I was cheated on," my mother asked, "Did you get his business card?" I ended up becoming someone who just gave away my number," he confessed.
He continued, "I returned to the graduation ceremony feeling down, and when I was about to leave after the ceremony, I was caught by someone again.
This time, I didn't miss the chance and got his business card. But what really appealed to me was the words, "We have SEVENTEEN in our company." So I thought, "Maybe this is a little too good."
"I joined the agency when I was 16, but I was scouted through Instagram DM," he said. At the time, he was in contact with several agencies other than his current agency.
He recalled how he received an offer from DM Scout when he was younger. He said, "After much deliberation, I decided to join my current agency." Do-hoon also talked about his first impression of Young Jae, who spoke in a dialect.
Young Jae, who came to Seoul from Gimhae, responded to a question about the difficulties of the dialect by saying, "When I joined as a trainee, I had many trainee friends, including Do-hoon,
I said in my former dialect, "Hello, I'm Choi YOUNG JAE from Gimhae,"' he said, recalling the laughing reactions of his friends at the time.
