Donghae of the group Super Junior has donated 30 million won to help treat children with cancer.
On the 15th, the Korea Children's Leukemia Foundation, a non-profit organization specializing in pediatric cancer, announced that Donghae had died at the age of 30.
The donation was made to commemorate Donghae's 8th anniversary as a public relations ambassador for the Korea Children's Leukemia Foundation and his own birthday.
The funds will be used to cover medical expenses for children battling cancer and rare, incurable diseases. Donghae has been serving as the foundation's public relations ambassador since 2017, and has been involved in various activities for children with cancer.
We have been actively involved in meaningful activities such as studio photo shoots with the children's public relations ambassadors and participation in the "Dream Contest."
Donghae of "JUNIOR" said, "I hope that my small feelings and everyone's warm participation will come together and become a great strength for children," and added, "If we all work together, small good deeds can become a great strength for children."
"I believe that coming together will bring great happiness. I will continue to be a reliable guardian angel watching over the children."
