Singer IU's side reveals the email at the time of replying to the band's management office alleging plagiarism of "The red shoes"

Korean singer and actress IU has refuted NEKTA's allegations of plagiarism of "The red shoes".

On the 21st, IU's management office EDAM Entertainment's official SNS posted an email sent by IU's album production company, LOEN Entertainment, to an email received from "NEKTA" in 2013.

Along with the photo, EDAM Entertainment said, "Regarding the announcement recently published through the Nordend Entertainment Publishing website, we have confirmed the email we received from Nordend Entertainment and have replied with our response."

They continued, "In addition, in 2013, we will publish a part of the email that LOEN Entertainment replied to through a lawyer."

On the 11th, the German band "NEKTA" claimed that they did not receive a reply from IU about the alleged copyright infringement and plagiarism of the song "The Red Shoes".
"NEKTA" posted on the management office Nordend Entertainment Publishing's homepage, "Until now, not only the artist IU but also any official representatives of LOEN Entertainment and EDAM Entertainment have not contacted us." and claimed to have never received a reply to the email.

On the other hand, when IU's "The red shoes" was released in 2013, suspicions of plagiarism surfaced after it was pointed out that it was similar to "Here's us" of "NEKTA".
