Korean youth who went on a backpacking trip to Japan is missing
Local police launched an investigation after suddenly losing contact with a young man in his 20s who went on a backpacking trip to Japan.

On July 26th, KBS reported that Yoon Se-joon, who was born in 1996, has been out of touch in Japan for 48 days.

According to reports, Yoon went on a month-long backpacking trip to Osaka, Japan on May 9th. However, at the end of the trip, after exchanging messages with his real sister, he disappeared. Yoon's older sister explained, "I asked my (brother's) friend, and the last message he sent was to me."

Mr. Yoon disappeared after being confirmed at a convenience store in Wakayama Prefecture near his lodgings. In order to search for Mr. Yoon, the local police switched to an open investigation on the 16th of last month and mobilized helicopter and others to search.

Yoon's older sister said, "I want to think that it was not an accident, but just a failure to contact him. Please come back soon."
