Second teaser sentence about "rape and murder near Sinlim Station"... Arrested a man in 30s in Seoul = Korea
A man in his 30s who made a second teaser article on July 25th was arrested while articles teasing similar crimes continued online after the "Sinlim station murder case".

According to the police on August 3rd, a male suspect in his 30s who posted a post on the DC Inside AKB48 gallery stating that he would "rape and murder a woman in the area around Shinbayashi Station" was arrested. Suspect A posted the post on July 25th and then deleted it.

The police booked suspect A on suspicion of intimidation, and on the 31st of last month, searched his residence in Seoul and secured evidence.

So far, there are a total of 10 postings of 'Shinlim Station Murder Teaser' posted online. Police have arrested two of them and are chasing the other eight.

Another person arrested is Lee, a man in his 20s who posted the teaser article for the first time on the 24th of last month. Lee posted a sentence saying, “I will kill 20 women at Sinlim Station” and a screenshot of the online purchase of a weapon on the DC Inside Male Celebrity Gallery, then turned himself in and was detained by the prosecution.

The police have determined that such postings are threatening crimes against citizens, and will set up a dedicated response team in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's powerful crime investigation team to track down the "murder teaser" posters.

The Seoul Agency Cyber Crime Investigation Team plans to deploy investigative personnel to track Internet addresses (IPs) and quickly identify suspects.

The police decided to punish the suspect severely by applying all possible measures and regulations, such as detaining the suspect in principle.

In addition, the police will deploy patrol cars around Sinlim Station and deploy 180 additional police riot police units to carry out special crime prevention activities. Alleys and parks that are crowded or difficult for police cars to enter will be monitored in real-time through the surveillance cameras of the Gwanak-gu Office. In addition, if a violent crime occurs, the police force of the neighborhood police force will be mobilized to respond quickly.
