China's "North Korea" specialized travel agency "North soon to open its borders to its own people"
"North Korea, which has closed its borders due to the COVID-19 virus, plans to open its borders in a limited manner in the near future," said a Chinese travel agency specializing in North Korea.

Koryo Tour, a travel agency specializing in North Korea based in Beijing, China, said on its website on August 11th, "We have heard news that North Korea is expected to officially open its borders very soon."

"First, the opening will be for North Koreans," Koryo Tour said.

Adding, "In the near future, the scope will expand to include diplomats and NGO (non-governmental organization) employees, but it will also be possible to include tourists."

"North Korean flights have not yet officially opened," he said.

North Korea has been blocking its borders due to COVID-19 since January 2020. There are signs that the borders will be opened, such as inviting delegations from China and Russia on the occasion of the Armistice Agreement Signing Day.
