North Korea teasers "re-launch" of spy satellites … "launch at any time"

On August 9th, North Korea teased the 're-launch' of its military reconnaissance satellite, saying it would "continue to launch satellites at any time."

North Korea announced the launch of its first satellite, Kwangmyungsong 1, on August 31st, 1998, in the August issue of the monthly foreign propaganda magazine, Geumsu Gangsan, which was released on the same day. Commemoratively, while enumerating the examples of satellite launches so far, it declared as before.

North Korea launched a military reconnaissance satellite at the end of May, but it ended in failure. Was teasing a re-fire.

With the Japan-U.S.-South Korea summit to be held at Camp David on the 18th of this month and the U.S.-South Korea joint military exercises from August 21st to the 24th, all eyes are on whether North Korea will go ahead with the re-launch of its spy satellites.
