Cho PD, found guilty of idol investment fraud by Supreme Court... 2 years imprisonment, 3 years suspended sentence confirmed.
Singer and producer Cho PD has been found guilty of idol investment fraud.

On the 9th, the Supreme Court confirmed the court sentenced to two years in prison and three years suspended sentence in the appeal of Cho PD, which was charged with fraud and attempted fraud.

Prior to that, in July 2015, Cho PD handed over the contract rights regarding the assets of the planning company it operated and the entertainers to which it belongs to another entertainment company A. In the process, he recovered about 270 million won out of the 1.2 billion won invested in the idol group "Topp Dogg", but he hid it and got all 1.2 billion won from company A.

Cho PD pleaded not guilty during the trial process, but the court did not accept it. At the first instance, Cho PD collected 270 million won for the "Topp Dogg" performance in Japan, and if Company A knew this, he thought he would not have signed the contract and was convicted.

The second trial also maintained the court, believing that Cho PD had deceived the court by thinking that it was unlikely that he had received the distribution for the performance in Japan. The Supreme Court also confirmed this, with two years in prison and a three-year suspended sentence for Cho PD's alleged idol investment fraud.
