"A Dog's neck on the sidewalk" ... The owner reveals the truth of the photo taken from an exquisite angle "A coincidence" = Korean press

The picture of a dog with only its head on the sidewalk is Hot Topic in Korea. This photo, which looks like it has been decapitated, has surpassed 52,000 views.

According to the US media Newsweek, the photo was released to the online community Reddit earlier this month and received an explosive reaction.

Nathan Sievers, a Reddit user, posted this photo with the sentence, "My dog lays on a curb with his head on it, it looks like his neck has been cut."

In the photo, a mixed dog "Blue" of husky and golden retriever has his head on the curb. The torso is not visually visible. The exquisite curb and sidewalk angles created an illusion.

"It was a coincidence that this photo was taken. We were playing at a friend's brewery and Blue lay down on a sloping (stepped) concrete sidewalk," Sievers told Newsweek. I put my head on it, but the body was blocked and it looked like my head was floating."

After seeing this, Internet users responded with "I'm worried if the dog is alive", "I'm worried about the dog", "I was surprised", so Sievers uploaded the usual blue figure. And proved "Blue is fine".

"I didn't think this photo would get so much attention. I want to apologize to everyone," said Sievers. "I just shared it because I wanted to show my cool dog and thought it was cool."
