Officials from the presidential office met with reporters at the presidential office in Yongsan this afternoon, saying, "The Japanese government has taken the opportunity of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit meeting to take the opportunity of the four countries of Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. We are considering holding a summit meeting," he explained in connection with the report of the Japanese media.

In effect, it has approved the promotion of holding a summit meeting between the four countries.

Prior to this, the Yomiuri Shimbun said, "On the 29th to 30th, we will hold a summit meeting in Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand, who were invited to the NATO summit meeting in Madrid, Spain.
