A landslide occurred at Baekdusan, which stands on the border between North Korea and China. A video of tourists running away has been released.

According to Chinese media on August 10th, a landslide occurred on the Chinese side of the mountain on the border between North Korea and China at around 4:50 pm on 9th.

According to reports, at the time, rocks and sand fell down the mountain with great force, causing dust to fill the surrounding area. About 100 tourists nearby were evacuated all at once.

Chinese media reported that "no injuries have been confirmed so far due to this landslide."

Baekdusan is a mountain that is considered a “sacred place” for the Korean people.
