Typhoon No. 13 to follow Typhoon No. 11, pay attention to future movements = South Korea
Typhoon No.11 caused heavy rains and strong winds, causing damage in various parts of South Korea.

Windy.com, the forecast website of the Czech Meteorological Agency, predicted that Typhoon No.13 is likely to occur.

Typhoon No.13 is expected to gain strength in the sea south of Japan, and after Typhoon No.12 disappears, it will approach the sea near Jeju Island on September 14th.

The storm is expected to move northward along the west coast on 15th and enter the storm zone in sequence, including Jeolla-do, Chungcheong-do, and the Seoul metropolitan area.

Typhoon No.13 is expected to have a central pressure of 986 hPa when it makes landfall on the Korean Peninsula, which is higher than the 945 hPa recorded when Typhoon No.11 passed Jeju on 6th.

However, the CFS US Weather Service model predicted that Typhoon No.13 could change direction toward China.

Also, the typhoon's course forecast is currently valid for at least 4 days, so there is a possibility that the course will change in the future.

However, typhoons occur more frequently in autumn, and it will take a long time to recover from damage caused by Typhoon No.11, so it is necessary to keep an eye on the course of the typhoon.

According to statistics from the Japan Meteorological Agency, typhoons tend to be concentrated in August and September, also known as "autumn typhoons," in normal years. This is because the sea warms more slowly than the land, and sea surface temperatures reach their maximum in the fall.

In the case of typhoons that occur in September, the average number is 5.1, but Typhoon No.11 is the first this year, and there is a high possibility that there will be more typhoons in the future.

Typhoon No.14 in September 1959 and Typhoon No.14 in September 2003 also occurred in autumn, among the typhoons that caused great damage to South Korea.

The aliases of the 2022 typhoon are as follows.
