Everland's roller coaster suddenly stopped... 10 minutes of fear at height of 20m = Korea
On September 12th, the last day of Korea's mid-autumn celebration (Chuseok) holiday, a large roller coaster suddenly stopped operating at the Everland amusement park in Yongin, Gyeonggi-do.

According to Everland, at noon on this day, one of the main attractions, the "T Express," suddenly stopped at a height of 20 meters above the ground.

The attraction had more than 30 passengers, but they were left on the stopped attraction for 10 minutes.

After that, the passengers descended through the stairs installed in the attraction with the guidance of the staff. Fortunately no one was injured.

Everland understands that the attraction's safety monitoring sensor has been activated and has stopped operation. However, no specific cause for the sensor's activation was identified.
