Multiple South Korean media reported on September 15th that Prime Minister Han will attend the state funeral of former Prime Minister Abe in Tokyo on 27th as a representative of the South Korean government.
Prime Minister Han will attend as the head of the condolence mission, while Jeong Jin-seok, vice chairman of the National Assembly, Yoon Deok-min, the ambassador to Japan, and Yoo Heung-soo, chairman of the Japan-Korea Friendship Association Central Committee, will attend as deputy heads.
Prime Minister Han will stay in Japan for two days and one night until 28th. It was reported that he also plans to meet with Japanese government officials and business people.
