<Itaewon accident> Doctor who rushed to Itaewon Halloween tragedy ... horrified by onlookers, "Let's drink elsewhere" = Korea
On the night of October 29th, a remark of a medical worker who was performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at the scene of the Halloween tragedy that killed 154 people in Itaewon, Seoul, South Korea.

On October 30th, an anonymous Internet community posted content titled "The Horrible Things at the Itaewon Site".

Mr. A, who introduced himself to the medical staff, wrote, "I was not far from Itaewon and heard the news of the accident.

Mr. A said, "I thought it would be okay because I'm usually slow, but when I actually went to the scene, I heard the siren of an ambulance from several dozen meters ahead, and it turned into a scene of carnage. I told police 'I'm a medical worker who came to help,' and entered the scene."

He continued, "People who were already lying on the ground had lost their blood and were showing symptoms of cyanosis. He was also bleeding. I thought, 'He won't survive.'"

He added, "The ones who were horrified by the situation were the people who were watching. I put a patient in an ambulance and was drinking water in the back of the ambulance to rest for a while. When I heard him say, 'Would you like to continue drinking at Hongik University?

Mr. A said, "People whose pulse did not return no matter how much CPR was performed, people who felt like an incompetent doctor, but who felt nothing in the face of someone else's death and tried to find a place to continue drinking. I can't seem to forget them for the rest of my life." He added, "I hope there are no more deaths."
