On the night of October 29th, at the time of the crushing deaths that occurred in Itaewon, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, a man wearing a 'rabbit headband' was accused of intentionally pushing citizens at the scene. He expressed his frustration by claiming that his face was exposed online and that he was being hunted by witches.

On the SBS program "I Want to Know" broadcasted on November 5th, the Itaewon disaster was dealt with with the subtitle "Halloween Tragedy, Ignored SOS."

After the tragedy, Mr. A, who was named as 'rabbit headband man' on SNS, said in an interview, "I filed a complaint against people who posted my face without mosaic processing and used insulting words. I went to the police station and submitted the evidence," he said.

At the time of the accident, online media such as SNS and YouTube said, "A group of five or six people started pushing people," "A man wearing a rabbit headband shouted, 'Push!'" and "Push!" People began to fall down after the voices of the people," etc.

In response to this, suspicions were raised that the accident was caused by Mr. A, who was wearing a rabbit headband in the video at the time, and Mr. A's face was spread through SNS without mosaic processing.

Mr. A published the KakaoTalk messages and photos exchanged with his friends, the details of transportation card payments, etc., and countered that he had left the scene before the accident occurred.

Based on the published materials, Mr. A claimed that he boarded the subway at Itaewon Station at 9:55 pm on October 29th and got off at Hapjeong Station at 10:17 pm. The crushing accident occurred around 10:15 p.m.

Furthermore, Mr. A insisted, "I didn't push anyone." In fact, the location where this man was filmed on the security camera around Itaewon was right in front of the accident site, and the time was also when he could get out of the alley without problems.

Mr. A said, "Naturally, acquaintances and people who saw the article were very angry because of the accident, and that's why they want to find the criminal even more. Police and detectives are now wearing rabbit headbands. They are desperate to catch those people who put it on."

Meanwhile, the police are conducting additional background checks on other people who were suspected of pushing people at the time.
