Korean defense ministry says US exports of 155mm ammunition 'not to aid Ukraine'
On November 11th, South Korea's Ministry of National Defense denied a foreign press report that the South Korean government was planning to provide lethal weapons to Ukraine through the United States, saying it was "not true."

In a position statement that day, the Ministry of National Defense said, "Discussions on ammunition exports between the US and South Korean companies are underway to supplement the shortage of 155mm ammunition in the US." and "The South Korean government's policy of not providing lethal weapons to Ukraine remains unchanged."

Earlier, the US media 'Wall Street Journal' said, "Through secret talks with the US government, the South Korean government will sell and provide artillery shells for the Ukrainian army fighting the Russian military invasion for the first time. The United States plans to purchase 100,000 rounds of 155mm shells from South Korea and send them to Ukraine."
