Gimpo "hell train" ended up with "female passengers collapsing"…Promoting "amphibious bus" between Gimpo-Hangang-Seoul = Seoul

The city of Seoul in South Korea discussed measures such as operating an amphibious bus connecting Gimpo and Seoul on the Han River. It is part of a special measure to reduce congestion on the Gimpo Urban Railroad (Gimpo Gold Line), the so-called "hell railway" (railway trains crowded with passengers).

On April 14th, the city of Seoul announced special measures to alleviate congestion on the Gimpo Gold Line, stating, "We will launch a 'Gimpo Gold Line Congestion Response Task Force' at the Seoul Transportation Corporation, which is the commissioned operator, to discuss measures to prevent safety accidents."

First, as a countermeasure against the subway, we will consider operating an 'amphibious bus' connecting Gimpo and Han River Park in Seoul.

However, it will be difficult to implement immediately. The city of Seoul plans to select the most suitable route and begin reviewing relevant legal systems and infrastructure in order to start operation as soon as possible.

The city of Seoul has also announced that it will rush to establish a roadway exclusively for buses between Gimpo and Seoul.
