Population of young children ``halved'' from 6.32 million in 2020 to 3.18 million in 2040 = South Korea

In South Korea, a projection was released stating that, ``If the current birth rate is maintained, the population of young children (0 to 14 years old) in 2040 will be reduced to half of the current number.''
