Can South Korea's doctor shortage problem be solved by increasing medical school capacity?

South Korea's Yonhap News reported on the 14th of this month that the South Korean government will increase the number of admissions for medical schools by approximately 2,000 students from at least 1,000 for the 2024 entrance exam to be held this year in order to resolve the shortage of doctors.
