The South Korean Ministry of Education (Ministry corresponds to the Ministry) tallied the current status of medical school students' requests for leave of absence, and found that the cumulative number of requests for leave of absence as of yesterday (21st) was approaching 9,000. This is 47.6 for all medical school students.
