South Korean court rules that public employment for elderly workers is ”volunteer work” and not covered by workers' compensation
A South Korean court has ruled that people who participate in a government-sponsored public elderly employment program are not considered "workers" under the Labor Standards Act and, as a result, are not eligible for workers' compensation.
