With the upcoming South Korean general election, the opposition party is stepping up its criticism of the Yoon administration's Japan policy, with lawmakers also landing on Takeshima in succession.
Cho Kuk, the leader of the opposition Fatherland Reform Party, which became the third largest party in last month's general election in South Korea, landed on Takeshima (Dokdo in Korean) in Shimane Prefecture on the 13th of this month, over which South Korea claims sovereignty.
