73,341 lightning strikes observed last year in South Korea, 75% in summer

Last year, about 73,000 lightning strikes were observed in South Korea, mostly in the summer. On the 31st, the Korea Meteorological Administration released a report titled "2023 Lightning Strikes" that includes information on lightning strikes observed in South Korea last year.
