Regarding the Ukishima Maru incident, the Japanese government provided part of the passenger list to the South Korean government, just one day before Prime Minister Kishida's visit to South Korea.
On the 5th of this month, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare provided the South Korean government with a list of some of the passengers involved in the Ukishima Maru incident that occurred on August 24, 1945 in Maizuru Bay, Kyoto, just after the end of the Pacific War.
