South Korea begins plasma experiments to realize fusion energy, also conducting joint research with Japan, U.S. and others

The Korea Institute of Nuclear Fusion Research (KSTAR) announced that it has begun plasma experiments to ensure the technology to operate high-temperature, high-density, high-current plasma in a tungsten divertor.
