As the birthrate continues to decline, about 50 elementary, junior high and high schools will be closed in South Korea

Due to the rapid decline in the birthrate in South Korea, 49 elementary, middle and high schools will be closed nationwide. Of these, elementary schools account for the largest proportion, at 77.6% (38 schools).
