The Democratic Party of Korea blamed President Yoon Seo-gyul for the North Korea-Russia summit held on the 13th. On the same day (13th), Kwon Chil-soon, the Democratic Party's chief spokesperson, said,
"This is a dangerous collusion that could have a negative impact on the stability of Northeast Asia and world peace," the statement said. Furthermore, ``President Yun publicly provoked Russia during the summit diplomacy and encouraged Russia to engage in North Korea.''
``Also, although he said that they would jointly respond to threats in Northeast Asia through military cooperation between Japan, the United States, and South Korea, this actually resulted in inciting military cooperation between North Korea and Russia.''
He also expressed concern that if North Korea were to receive Russian satellite technology, it would accelerate its development of ballistic missile technology and pose a major threat to Northeast Asia.
Spokesperson Kwon said, ``Economic cooperation between North Korea and Russia is seen to significantly neutralize the United Nations sanctions network against North Korea.''
He is worried that the solidarity of values and freedom that he talked about is ultimately solidifying Northeast Asia into a confrontational structure between Japan, the United States, South Korea, and North, China, and Russia. He said, ``President Yoon is trying to resolve the people's concerns about security insecurity.''
"We must clarify what measures we can take to ease military tensions in Northeast Asia and cut off military and economic cooperation between North Korea and Russia."
