President Yoon meets with San Marino leaders to expand tourism and economic cooperation
On the afternoon of the 18th (local time), South Korean President Yoon Seo-gyeol, who visited New York to attend the high-level meeting of the 78th United Nations General Assembly, spoke with Alessandro Alessandro of the Republic of San Marino.
He met with Consuls Doro Scarano and Adele Tonnini. This is the first summit meeting between the two countries since they established diplomatic relations in 2000. San Marino has two consuls elected by the parliament every six months.
A joint governance system is adopted. During the meeting, Mr. Yoon asked for support for Busan hosting the 2030 World Expo and exchanged opinions on the development of bilateral relations.
