Asia's largest architecture event will be held in Incheon, South Korea in 2025

The Asian Council of Architects was established in 1967, and its members include 22 architect organizations from Asia, including Japan, Korea, and China.
It is structured as follows. At the board meeting held on this day, the Korean Institute of Architects made a presentation regarding the competition for the invitation, including the suitability of the venue, the current status of preparations, and future direction.
It was unanimously selected by two member countries to host the event in 2025. The Korean Institute of Architects has held its third conference (Seoul) in 1988 and its 13th conference (Busan) in 2008.
The successful bid to host the 2016 conference gave the country an opportunity to raise its status as a powerhouse of architectural culture and to once again publicize the excellence of domestic architecture.
Seok Jeong-hoon, chairman of the Korean Architects Association, said, ``The bid to host the 21st Asian Architects Conference is an excellent example of successful cooperation between local governments and the private sector.''
