The story begins with a news report about three young boys who were suddenly arrested and attracts attention. Hwang Jun-cheol, head of the investigation team at Wanju Police Station, peeks inside the supermarket through the gap between the tightly closed shutters.
``I would like to provide information on the culprit...the real culprit of last year's Woori supermarket murder case.'' A voice appears, hinting that there is another real culprit behind the incident.
On a rainy night, we see the silhouette of the criminal covering the mouth of Yoon Mi-sook (Jin Kyung), the only witness to the incident, and the words, ``There was no truth there that day.''
