The number of children born compared to the same month in the previous year has been decreasing for more than six years since December 2015, and increased by 13 in September last year, but it has fallen again since October.
The trend of decline has continued for the past 10 months. In addition, the crude birth rate, which is the number of children born per 1,000 people, was 4.4, a decrease of 0.3 from a year ago.
On the other hand, the number of deaths in July was 28,239, an increase of 2,166 (8.3%) from a year ago. In addition, the number of deaths compared to the same month last year is as follows:
