``I felt that playing the role of a real person came with a great sense of responsibility.
So from the moment I chose the work, I decided to live as a national representative wearing the Taegeuk mark.'' Siwan is thin, but he took pictures to resemble Seo Yoon-bok, who has a sturdy physique.
Three months ago, he not only underwent rigorous marathon training, but also thoroughly adjusted his diet. Including the filming period, I spent a total of eight months living the life of a marathon runner.
Thanks to constant aerobic and strength training, his body fat percentage dropped to around 6% at one point.
He said that this movie was the one in which he put the most effort into building his body.
``In order to keep my muscles strong, I had to continue doing strength exercises between shots to maintain muscle tension.
That was harder than running. However, 6% itself was not my goal, I just wanted to be like Seo Yoon-bok, who has a strong body.”
When filming the scene where he takes off his jacket and exercises, he says he didn't drink any water for two days.

“I wanted to go to the extreme for my own satisfaction.
However, after I stopped drinking water for two days, my eyes became so blurry that I couldn't see.
