団体で船から飛び降りて泳いで上陸…密入国の中国人22人検挙=韓国
Group jumps off ship, swims ashore... 22 Chinese nationals arrested for smuggling immigrants = South Korea
Police have arrested 22 Chinese nationals who attempted to smuggle into the country by boat from China. Boryeong Maritime Police Station has booked 22 people on suspicion of attempting to smuggle people from China (immigration control violation).
It was announced on the 3rd that the matter was being investigated. They arrived on a boat from China at around 1:53 a.m. on the same day, about 3.7 kilometers southwest of Daecheon Port in Boryeong City, Chungcheongnam-do.
He is suspected of jumping into the sea wearing a life jacket, swimming to smuggle himself into the country, and then attempting to escape on land.
All 21 people were arrested in the Okawa Port area, but A, who was hiding nearby, was arrested.
He fled to Ansan City in Jeonggi-do (Gyeonggi-do Province) in a car such as Kussi, where an acquaintance lives. Military authorities, including the 32nd Army Division, and the maritime police, who were aware of the smuggling attempt in advance, used infrared cameras.
They tracked people who were trying to smuggle people into the country, and caught people hiding in Okawa Port, the seashore, and the port's parking lot, while also following A.
The police then received a report from a taxi driver who thought A was suspicious, as well as footage from the vehicle's black box.
They identified A's movement line and caught him hiding inside a house in Ansan City at around 8:47 a.m. on the same day. According to the Maritime Police, all of them are Chinese (including Koreans) in their 40s.
By the way, I found out that I don't have any third country nationality. Previously, maritime police and military authorities had tracked down a vessel that had helped smuggle people into the Yellow Sea, but at around 7:40 a.m.
It was understood that he had left. Maritime police believe the ship came from Weihai, Shandong province, along the Yellow Sea, and have requested cooperation from Chinese investigative authorities.
The maritime police interviewed the 22 people arrested to find out their exact ages, relationships, smuggling routes and motives, etc.
I plan on holding it.
