It has been confirmed that over the past five years in South Korea, eight doctors have had their licenses revoked for reasons such as administering drugs or administering drugs, but have had their licenses reissued.
On the 3rd, Kang Ki-yun, a member of the People's Power (opposition), submitted a request for re-licensing drug-related medical personnel for the past five years, which was submitted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
According to the 'Issuance Status', from 2018 to this year, 29 doctors who directly administered narcotics or administered narcotics to patients for non-medical purposes applied for re-issuance, and 8 were approved.
The approval rate is said to be 27.5%. Looking at the current status of medical license reissuance by year as of the date of disposition, there were two applications in 2018 and one application in 2019, all of which were approved.

It was confirmed that it was approved. During this period (2021 and 2022), nurses also applied for a total of two applications, both of which were rejected.
Rep. Kang said, ``Doctors whose licenses have been revoked due to drug administration, etc. (through license reissue approval)
"It is questionable whether the public will be satisfied with the idea of receiving medical treatment again, and this is a matter of concern."
