Typhoon Koinu approaches coastal areas of eastern Guangdong province... 'Yellow warning' issued = Chinese report

The China Central Meteorological Observatory reported that Typhoon Koinu is approaching the coastal areas of eastern Guangdong province, and as of 6 a.m. (local time) on the 6th, it remains at the second-lowest typhoon warning level.
A "yellow alert" has been issued. As of 5 a.m. on the 6th, the center of Typhoon No. 14 was said to be approaching the city of Shanwei, Guangdong Province, about 300 kilometers away.
The wind speed near the center is class 12 (35 m/s), and the atmospheric pressure at the center is 970 hectopascals. Wind speeds of 24 to 28 meters within a radius of 80 km from the center
It was a strong windstorm, with winds blowing at speeds of 13 to 17 meters per hour within a radius of 200 to 300 kilometers. Typhoon No. 14 is moving westward at a speed of 10 km/h and is gradually moving towards Guangdong.
It is close to the eastern coastal areas. It will be closest to Earth from the 7th to the 8th, but its strength is expected to weaken. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts heavy rain to fall in parts of southern Fujian and Guangdong provinces.
The government is warning people to refrain from outdoor activities.
