South Korean woman in her 40s gave birth in a motel and was killed by throwing her out of a window.

Police have arrested a woman in her 40s who killed her daughter, who she gave birth to at a motel, by throwing her out of the window. Gyeonggi, Bucheon, and Wonmi police stations arrested 40 people on suspicion of murdering an infant.

The child was discovered by a resident near the motel around 2pm on the 9th. It was wrapped in sheets and placed in a paper bag.
The resident reportedly called police after seeing the child near the motel wall.
Police responded to the scene and arrested the woman, who was walking on the road near the motel, around 6 p.m. on the 9th. The woman said, ``After giving birth to the child at a motel on the 4th, she broke the window screen and threw it outside.''
``I thought that if someone found her, they would take her and raise her,'' she told the police. As for the child's father, the woman said, ``I don't know who it is,'' and said it was ``a man I met at a drinking party.''
. Police plan to request an autopsy on the child's body to the National Institute of Forensic Science to confirm the cause of death. The plan is to apply for a arrest warrant against the woman.
Police believed the child was alive at the time the woman dropped it, so the infant was killed.
